Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Performance and has entertained audiences across the country. Melissa was honored to be the first woman from her city to be crowned Miss Massachusetts, proudly representing her state at the Miss America Pageant. During her year of service, Melissa embarked on a speaking tour encouraging young people to pursue their passions and achieve their goals. As a result, she was invited to the White House to receive the National Community Service Award presented by former President of the United States, George W. Bush.

Melissa is a wife and the mother of two girls and a yellow labrador. As a family, they enjoy spending quality time together, giving show-stopping theatrical performances in the living room, baking, being mermaids at the pool in the summer, and volunteering to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
